Sneaker News New Yeezy shoes always bring out the best in the reactions from the sneaker community, but few have had the response like the recently revealed Yeezy 450 has experienced. Unlike any other Yeezy sneaker thus far, the 450 model brings forth a prehistoric midsole construction that many have likened to the fossilized ribcage of a giant creature from eons ago, but with a mesh bootie constructing sitting inside. That description isn’t too far off from the actual thing, because it seems that Kanye and his design team are looking for that type of polarizing response rather than aiming for a complete crowd-pleaser.
While the Yeezy 450 “Cloud White” is confirmed to release this week, the newly revealed “Dark Slate” (courtesy of @yeezymafia) reveals that all-black look from the bottom sole up to the ankle collar that hugs the leg. It’s best to launch such a visually demanding sneaker with basic colorways, and history tells us that the all-black Yeezy drop will always live up to the hype.
