With March Madness soon underway, Jordan Brand has offered many of their sponsored schools a team-inspired Air Jordan 5 PE. Each, quite a few of which have been teased by their respective institutions throughout the past few months, takes the signature colors to new heights while simultaneously bringing up morale.
Just a day before the NCAA division tournament kicks off, the Jumpman has lined up their six prepared colorways. While the specific pantones and insignia may differ by a great deal, the construction and materials are the same on every option. Leather uppers bear a slightly textured look that resembles the beloved Elephant print. Elsewhere, icy blue soles mark all underfoot, while colorless laces, midsoles, and nettings dress above. Then, the universities begin to have their way with the colors: UF displays their bright blue and orange, the Wolverines opt for loud full yellows, UNC features the ever-beloved “University Blue,” Marquette dons a dark navy, and the Sooners flaunt their Crimson shades. The only pair that hasn’t been seen prior is Georgetown’s, whose colorway is the subtlest in its use of grey and dark blue.
