Michael Le Air Max Day is just around the corner, and we’re soon to witness all the releases and digital events that Nike has instore for us. Quite a leap over last year’s event, 2021’s will bring about the return of many fan favorites, while also giving the new generation something of their own.
Though it’s called “Air Max Day,” the drops start as early as Thursday and continue on into the next week. And first, the brand will link back up with everyone’s favorite jewelry all-star to revise the Air Max 97 Swarovski in a new “Polar Blue” colorway.
Afterwards, the Swoosh really kicks things into gear, starting us off with a few party favors. The Air Max Pre-Day arrives for the first time, leading the way for the similarly eccentric trio of Air Vapormax EVOs. More importantly, the Air Max 1 closes the “Evolution of Icons” pack with the best and most detail-packed colorway the collection has ever seen. The day, then, culminates with what everyone is likely looking forward to: the revival of the Air Max 90 Bacon.
Saturday has quite a few releases of its own. Though the CLOT Air Max 1 K.O.D surely steals the show, its quantity pales in comparison to the “City Special” pack offered alongside. From New York to LA, the series will finally hit the shelves. The days following the event will introduce some latecomers, such as the Air Max 95 LeBron and the Air Tuned Max Celery.
