Aimé Leon Dore And New Balance Further Celebrate Vintage With Their Spring 550s

Aimé Leon Dore And New Balance Further Celebrate Vintage With Their Spring 550s

During the Fall of last year, Aimé Leon Dore offered yet another standout collaboration with New Balance: a series of 550s. The silhouette’s official re-introduction, the capsule opened the way for sequels such as this upcoming Spring colorway.

Teased by way of Teddy Santis’ Instagram, the scheme adopts a look far more vintage than any of the past iterations. Yellow soles add that retro flair to the midsole, while dark green and faded greys complement underfoot. Above, premium leathers are left a bright, neutral white visage, allowing for the pilled, yellow “N” logo to stand out right atop the side profile. Elsewhere, further use of the aforementioned green can be found along the backside of the tongue, collar, and the Aimé Leon Dore/New Balance logo hits that round off the design.

At the time of writing this, a release date is currently unknown. However, it’s guaranteed that this colorway — and possibly more — will arrive some time this Spring.

In other news, a Brain Dead Zig Kinetica is on the way as well.
