With the official release of the Air Max 96 II retro scheduled for April 8th, Nike has prepared a series of fresh now concoctions as the model enjoys the light of the day for the first time in 25 years. Alongside the school uniform inspired colorway revealed not long ago is a spring-appropriate mix of purple dawn, lemon drop, and purple pulse – a fitting combination as the seasons adjust to blooming landscapes and the hunt for easter eggs.
The majority of the upper suede overlays and mesh underlayer consists of the softened purple hue, while a light yellow dons the mudguard and Swoosh. A sporty streak of dark teal appears on the upper and tongue racing stripe, with a beige/tan hitting the tongue. We suspect these could be part of a larger spring collection from Nike Sportswear, so keep an eye out for other similarly colored Air Maxes for women.
In other Air Max news, the Air Tuned Max is officially dropping on April 3rd.
