Michael Le Spring is in the air and so, too, are the season’s bright, pastel-laden sneakers. Next to Nike, ASICS is definitely living it up, adding a number of bright colors to flagships like the GEL-Lyte III.
Though the silhouette was once shelved to prepare for a larger comeback, things are now business as usual. Here, it strings together a number of complementary tones, such as Birch and Camel Beige. Both share real estate throughout the upper, though the latter is only given space along the side logos, laces, and forefoot/counter accents. Everything elsewhere — from the mesh base to the suede overlays — is made far lighter to better mingle with the pinks that treat the sole and heel.
