Throughout its 39th anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 has indulged in dozens of colorways suited for all types of style preferences. For its latest proposition, Bruce Kilgore’s design has kept things extremely simple with a triple-“White” colorway. Yet, it features non-standard tumbled leather construction throughout the upper, as well a gold lace dubraes.
Free of any red Supreme box logos on the lateral heel, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in the same monochromatic arrangement the low-top Air Force 1 did for its Spring/Summer 2020 collaboration with the New York City institution. Instead of smooth leather, however, the successor boasts a textured counterpart across its top-half, including the profile swooshes and “NIKE AIR”-branded heel panel. Underfoot, sole units maintain their classic “White”-on-“White” aesthetic, which is a go-to option in locales like the Bronx and Harlem, but the lace dubraes forgo their plastic “colorless” or silver makeup for an eye-catching metallic gold finish.
