Michael Le Japan’s Beauty & Youth, sister label to imprint United Arrows, has claimed quite a few New Balance exclusives for themselves. For release only overseas, this forthcoming 327 delivers the label’s purposeful sense of minimalism right in time for the warmer weather.
Unlike Beauty & Youth’s past collaborations, this pair tweaks the 327’s typical materials. Instead of a smooth nylon base, the colorway opts for a thicker, more robust mesh that contrasts its adjacent overlays in a light, muted tan. Enlarged white Ns, then, dress the side in white, while the aforementioned panels propose suedes in a deep olive shade. The laces and tongue match quite closely, leaving the grey lining and tread to round off the scheme with further neutrals.
