Sneaker News Although no longer the latest iteration of the Three Stripes’ modern-day “bread-and-butter,” the adidas UltraBOOST 5.0 continues to deliver compelling takes that runners can get behind. For its latest proposition, the silhouette has indulged in a multi-color arrangement ahead of Pride Month 2021.
Akin to a handful of adidas Originals option to emerge earlier this month, the BOOST-cushioned model boasts shades of red, blue, green, yellow and orange across its Primeknit upper. Split between zones, these tones come together on the “LOVE UNITES” logo designed for the upcoming June celebration; each leather in the phrase indulges in a different hue, and appear on tongue labels, sock-liners and tabs protruding at the spine. Plastic profile 3-Stripes and stability counters around the heel forgo any rainbow-derived flair in favor of clear and off-white styles, respectively. Cushioning and Continental rubber tread underfoot follow along the same lines, donning all-“Cloud White” makeups.
