Nike’s latest Air Force 1, clad in a black and white palette, takes us to Southeast Asia as the brand readies a subtle homage to the Mycteria cinerea — or the “Milky Stork” as its referred to herein.
A rather rare species of bird, the Milky Stork is depicted mid-flight right atop the shoe’s heel, embroidered with incredible detail. And in celebration of its white plumaged feathers, quite a bit of the silhouette’s construction is made the very same neutral. This homage only begins to take further shape elsewhere. The tongue and lining hue black like that of the species head, while red labels, eye stays, and additional branding mimic with inferable accuracy.
For a closer look at this upcoming colorway, see the official images below. A release is sure to hit Nike.com very soon.
In other news, the newest Blake Griffin Air Jordan 35 PE shows some love to late 2000s film Superbad.
