Jovani Hernandez As Pride Month and World Peace Day inch closer, the Swoosh has prepped a handful of styles promoting a message of unity. For its latest proposition, the North American brand has outfitted the Nike Waffle One in multi-color accents.
Akin to previous iterations of the modernized Nike Waffle (and a recently-surfaced Air Force 1), the forthcoming pair indulges in a predominantly black mesh and suede build. Profile swoosh outlines deviate from their surroundings in stark yellow contrast. Collar and tongue lining follow suit, but boast vibrant green and light blue hues. Experimental midsoles don the boldest hit of color on the shoe, featuring a gradient that becomes crimson-like towards the heel. All aforementioned tones nod to the hand-holding graphics printed on each sock-liner that deliver a message of friendship and solidarity.
