Following a poor performance against the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 of the 2020-21 NBA Playoffs, LeBron James and his NIKE, Inc. family are moving forward with the release of the Nike Dunk High EMB “Lakers,” a pair first seen in mid-April.
Clad in “Black,” the pair’s smooth leather base sets the stage for a mix of Los Angeles Lakers-appropriate flair. Overlays across the forefoot, along the tongue and throughout the heel indulge in a rich “Court Purple,” while profile swooshes boast an “Opti Yellow” tone. Embroidered “NIKE” text on the heel’s bottom portion is stylized as James’ current team name often is, with movement-denoting detailing further opting into a vibrant yellow makeup. Underfoot, the Air Jordan 1-reminiscent model keeps things simple with a “White” midsole/”Black” outsole combination.
