Michael Le Very, very few Aimé Leon Dore collaborations go under the radar. Their New Balance 1300, however, largely came and went without much of a murmur. This is due likely in part to its pre-order release, which seemingly made the shoes far more accessible than their 550, 990v2, 990v5, and so on. But if you’re just now hearing about these or regret not putting in an order back in 2020, you’re in luck as the streetwear label is offering a restock alongside new apparel and accessories.
For the uninitiated, the footwear options come in two vivid colorways. The first, which is by far the brightest of the duo, dyes near fully in pink. Aged midsoles, tongues, and the like add a vintage aesthetic next to navy heel tabs and oversized “N” logos. Its alternate, though partially identical save for its increased use of white and grey, stands on its own in forest green.
What’s more, you can expect a commemorative hat and tee to drop alongside, both printed with an “NB” logo overrun with a number of nature motifs. The gardening gloves adjacent are comparatively straightforward, hued in a green and yellow scheme.
