Michael Le LeBron James is well-known to be charitable, erecting an eponymous foundation that serves more than 1,400 Akron-area students with programs, supports, and even mentors. It’d be a wasted opportunity not to celebrate the initiative with a LeBron 18, which is what this colorway achieves in its adult and GS size run.
At a glance, the offering screams Summer, making use of a palette that’s ostensibly inspired by the Miami beaches. Deep, oceanic blues take the helm throughout, dressing not only the tooling but the knit upper and entire heel counter as well. Bits of orange, then, weave their way atop, further celebrating the South Florida locale that the athlete briefly called home. Finally, to more explicitly nod to the LeBron James Foundation, the pair both dresses its insole with the charity’s logo and the tongue with an all-over mosaic of interlocked stick figures.
