OAMC, the brain child of Luke Meier and Arnaud Faeh, has cultivated their adidas collaborations for some time, offering the Three Stripes their inimitable design language. And here, the two have landed on one their most compelling offerings yet: the Bounce-outfitted Type O-9.
A balancing act of proportions, the silhouette visually builds off the sculptural look of the Micro-Bounce infrastructure. The heel clip, for compatibility’s sake, is architectural in form, extending out from the velvety suede base with a matted, opaque finish. Forward, the toe cap opts for identical materials, though its far less pronounced next to the embroidered cosmetics of the top line. And while the white pair deals very little color, the brown alternate adds a subtle pop of orange to the sockliner.
For a closer look at both pairs, see below. A release is currently set to hit select retailers and adidas.com on June 10th.
