Jovani Hernandez Unveiled by the Boy Better Know-frontman himself in mid-May, the Skepta x Nike Air Max Tailwind V “Bloody Chrome” arrives to Nike SNKRS on June 12th.
A follow-up to March’s fifth installment of the “Sk Air” partnership, the forthcoming pair swaps blue for red across its butterfly-inspired upper. Chrome accents reprise their supporting role across profile swooshes and stability components at the mid-foot. Skepta’s custom Air Max-branding takes over the tongue label, while the iridescent finish around the heel nods to the artist’s thermographic cover art from the “Ignorance Is Bliss” album (2019). Underfoot, the tracksuit-appropriate Tailwind V maintains a predominantly black makeup interrupted by a red Air sole bubble.
