Despite having a busy 2020, the Nike Air Max 90 hasn’t slowed down on its output over the first six months of the new year. For its latest ensemble, the 31-year-old design has indulged in a multi-color makeup for kids, complete with all-over swoosh patterns across the upper.
While the pair’s base features a greyscale arrangement reminiscent of the model’s inaugural colorway, complementary details deviate from Tinker Hatfield’s original vision. Profile swooshes and laces are covered with a plethora of miniature swooshes. Hits of orange, yellow and blue animate the logos, bringing much-needed flair to the otherwise understated leather upper. These aforementioned tones also appear elsewhere on the iconic Air Max sneaker, and are arguably overshadowed by the camouflage-like multi-color pattern that takes over most of the outsole.
