Michael Le Not long back, the Nike Air Max 90 “Laser” appeared in a natural colorway, its cream foundation etched very carefully with an elaborate design. And now, more than an entire month thereafter, the make-up is set to return in a new mahogany-based alternate.
Alongside its color, the pair is different in its use of material. While the original preferred thick, premium slabs of leather, the follow-up opts for suede, which provides the deep, burgundy-like finish a velvet appearance. Then, the lasered carvings burn into the seamless upper, creating the illusion that the mudguard, eye stays, quarter, and Swoosh are actually overlaid.
Paired with waxed laces, a slightly translucent outsole, and white midsole, the new AM90 “Laser” should hit Nike.com and select retailers soon.
