KANGHYUK And Reebok Prepare Only 25 Pairs Of These Upcycled Classic Leathers

KANGHYUK And Reebok Prepare Only 25 Pairs Of These Upcycled Classic Leathers

Together, KANGHYUK and Reebok have created some of sneaker culture’s most exciting collaborations. And today, following the pre-order launch of their Premier Road Modern Mid, the two are going back to their roots, upcycling air bags yet again for this all-red Classic Leather.

Produced in very limited quantity — 25 to be exact — the pair resembles the fabrication and design of releases prior. The shape, though, is true to the 70s classic, sleek from the heel through to the toe. Its various parts are removed of their leather, however, and replaced with the laser cut air bags that the Korean label has long since made their signature. These materials are stitched down at many, many points across the shoe, patchworked together in a way that still errs close to the original silhouette.

For a detailed look, see below. The limited 25-pair run will release exclusively through Dover Street Market London on August 6th.

In other news, new New Balance 992s are on the way.
