Jovani Hernandez After months of anticipation, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Pollen” finally releases tomorrow, August 14th.
Given its two-tone, yellow and black arrangement, the pair has gotten a barrage of comparisons to the near-mythical Nike Dunk High “Wu-Tang” from 1999. Dark tumbled leather sets the stage for handfuls of smooth overlays dipped in the titular “Pollen” hue. The latest take on Michale Jordan’s first signature sneaker forgoes any “W” denoting its allegiance to a hip-hop act, but its “Wings” insignia on the lateral heel boasts a black makeup. Underfoot, the high-top Air Jordan 1 opts for a “colorless” midsole that allows for the outsole to revel in the spotlight.
