This Nike Air More Uptempo Alternates Navy And Red AIR

With its oversized “AIR” lettering inspired by ’90’s graffiti and pop art, the Nike Air More Uptempo allows for tons of opportunities to get creative. An upcoming arrangement is getting playful with alternating colors while also paying tribute to basketball legend and fan of this very model, Scottie Pippen.

The new offering sees a black suede build that is complemented by leather overlays on the toe. On the lateral side, the exaggerated “AIR” appliques are in vibrant red leather and are further animated by black outlines. The red extends beyond the lettering to coat portions of the midsole. As for the medial side, the “AIR” overlays take on a nearly opposite approach by assuming a navy fill and white borders. The navy and red eventually meet at the heel, where a clear Nike logo and Pippen branding is found. Grey pull loops on the tongue and heel round out the design, delivering a bold, court-ready look.

Check out official images of the Air More Uptempo below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $170.
