This Women’s Nike Air Max 2021 Dresses Down In Muted Tones For Everyday Wear

When it comes to Nike’s newest Air Max additions, the Nike Air Max Pre-Day boasts a rather old-school aesthetic thanks to design cues borrowed from mid-2000s runners. And then there’s the Nike Air Max 2021—a proposition with funky layering and overlays that are all things futuristic. Countering the silhouette’s boldness, a new women’s exclusive kicks it down a notch with barely-there colors and navy accents well-suited for lifestyle wear.

Summit White textiles and meshes, as well as light blue gridded nylon materials, dominate the upper for a sleek base. Eyelets on the exaggerated lacestays and the profile Swoosh decals are in a contrasting navy that still maintains the model’s overall everyday-friendly aesthetic. A light ghost green stripe above the midsole acts as another muted shade to carry out the aforementioned theme. As for the sole unit, white foam dominates the toe while the heel is comprised of translucent rubber that encases a futuristic blue Air unit. Black rubber with a unique pattern underfoot adds traction and completes the women’s exclusive.

Take a closer look at the Air Max 2021 below, which will hit the listed retailers on September 1st with a price tag of $160.
