Jasmine Tang Levi’s and New Balance as collaborators just make sense—two American brands responsible for iconic styles (think Levi’s 501 jeans and the New Balance 990 series) that have become staples to fashion and sneaker enthusiasts. The duo fuses their signature design cues to craft a collaborative, USA-made New Balance 990v3 available in two colorways.
The 990v3 will be available in both Indigo and Grey, which are Levi’s and New Balance’s famed colors. Shrink-To-Fit™ denim comprises the base while the hairy suede accents are a reference to the fuzzy leather back patches found on Levi’s jeans. Each proposition is topped off with co-branded N logos that see a custom Levi’s tab to further mark the cultural significance of the collaboration.
