Jovani Hernandez Pharrell Williams has had a busy December. In-between commencement speeches at Norfolk State University and contributing to NIGO’s compilation album, the Virginia-native has designed three pairs of the adidas adilette 2.0 Slides.
Unlike the slides’ first iteration, Williams’ take features a lockdown component around the ankle. Tonal “Halo Green,” “Off White” and “Core Black” arrangements take over a respective pair, with “Hu” lettering stamped onto the overlay running across the forefoot. As with other propositions under the Pharrell adidas Hu partnership, the adilette 2.0s boast a foot graphic on their footbeds, nodding to Eastern foot reflexology charts. Underfoot, tried-and-proven foam delivers a cushioned-ride for everything from house-use to days out in town.
