Prior to the unfortunate tragedy at the Astroworld Festival, Nike was likely planning on using Travis Scott to reintroduce the Air Trainer 1. But with the artist’s collaborative version postponed indefinitely, it seems the brand’s own remake will be the first to the shelves. And this “SP” model will not only appear in warm tones; according to recent unveils, a “Honeydew” colorway is also on the way.
Relative to its orange counterpart, the “Honeydew” is a dramatic shift in the opposite direction. Blues of both light and dark alternate across the leather, synthetic, and mesh panels, effectively bringing attention to the differences in material. A tribal-like detailing, too, is highlighted by these same hues, while the strap and lace unit bask in a deeper, purple-dominant finish. As for the branding, the Swooshes are polished in a lime green that sits just a bit more vibrant than the sole and lining adjacent.

In other news, a New Balance 550 Neutral Grey is coming soon.
