As the Nike Dunk Low enters a whole new year, it’s been outfitted in handfuls of heritage and modern-day ensembles. For the latest entry into the latter category, the Swoosh has dressed the model’s “Scrap” in a jade, tan and red colorway courtesy of the “Formless, Shapeless, Limitless” collection.
Already boasting an Air Force 1 Low and Air Max Pre-Day, the upcoming capsule seemingly draws inspiration from Eastern philosophy and design. The Nike Dunk‘s updated, partly-upcycled construction lends itself well to the collection’s theme of boundary rejection, as the aforementioned tones take over haphazardly-shaped fabric and textile panels throughout the shoes’ upper. Rainbow-shaped patterns land on the profile swooshes, with lateral heel overlays being accessorized by three differently-shaped jade stones. Underfoot, the Air Jordan 1-reminiscent sole unit also indulge in the rich green tone, though it does so via semi-translucent tread.
No firm Nike SNKRS release details have been confirmed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy a first-look at the shoes ahead.
Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the a Louis Vuitton Air Force 1 auction will begin on January 26th and run until February 8th.
