Historically, the Air Jordan 1 Low has been one of the more experimental trims offered by Michael Jordan’s eponymous signature sneaker series. Recently, the silhouette has emerged in everything from golf-modifications to an elephant print-donning ensemble seemingly inspired by the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue.”
Perhaps part of a larger collection that makes reference to some of the line’s most iconic retros, the upcoming sneakers mostly indulge in a grey, white and black color palette. Textured leather around the forefoot pairs well with the elephant pattern at the lower heel and along the tongue. Bold blue flair lands on the low-top Jordan 1‘s collar area, as well as the outsole. Initial images of the sneakers don’t showcase a vibrant red Jumpman logo on the top of the tongue, but the remainder of the ensemble draws enough of a comparison to the AJ 3 that first released in 1988.

Elsewhere under the “NIKE, Inc.” banner, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase debuts soon.
