Star-Shaped Cutouts Cover This Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Mid

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid continues to hold it down for the silhouette’s 40th birthday, paying homage to everything from Berlin to the iconic “UENO PANDA.” And while not as straightforward with its influences, this upcoming colorway is just as unique, as it covers its upper entirely with star-shaped cutouts.

If not for the lack of red, white, and blue, the pair could be mistaken for a symbol of patriotism, as the aforementioned stars appear frequently across both the mid-panel and toe. The overlays atop, which are built of a tumbled leather, are bereft of embellishments — that is, however, if you don’t include the miniature Swoosh and “Nike Air” that embroiders the strap and heel tab, respectively. Elsewhere, the package takes on a more vintage feel, as it incorporates both yellowed soles and laces.

In other news, the YZY QNTM Mono Carbon is releasing later this month.
