Although removed from its milestone 30th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 90 continues to play an important role in the brand’s lineup of products. Ahead of spring, a kid’s-exclusive pair has emerged in evergreen tree graphics on the top of the tongue.
An official color palette hasn’t been revealed by the Swoosh, but Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design is covered primarily in shades of grey across its upper and sole unit. Hits of green and blue enter the mix via the profile swooshes and “NIKE AIR” logos on the heel, and the TPU panels at the top eyelets and sidewalls, respectively. Air Max units underfoot don’t indulge in the seasonal flair, but boast a light tan tone that complements the upper’s green and blue shades well. Tread just underneath it also sports the muted tone, but features light speckling indicative of its partly-recycled construction.
No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand yet, but that’s likely to change as spring inches closer.
