The Nike Air Max Genome Goes Full “Red October”

The Nike Air Max Genome Goes Full “Red October”

Among the brand’s newer propositions, the Nike Air Max Genome has largely been overshadowed by other silhouettes donning visible Air-cushioning. The model’s upcoming “Red October” colorway, however, will surely change that.

Clad in ruby-colored flair all across the upper and sole unit, the upcoming sneakers get their unofficial nickname from the Air Yeezy II colorway Kanye West and the Swoosh dropped in 2014. Performance footwear from the 2000s-inspired construction throughout the pair’s top-half, as well as the future-forward, full-length Air Max unit underfoot all share a vermillion uniform that favors the bold. Interesting enough, swoosh wheel logos on the sock-liner speak to the eye-catching pair’s partly-recycled construction, which is ever crucial in the Swoosh company’s “Move to Zero” initiative.

Enjoy official images of the sneakers ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch.
