Jovani Hernandez Over the last few years, New Balance has garnered notable attention within the sneaker space by collaborating with athletes, entertainers and other tastemakers. As the North American institution continues its reign as one of the most exciting brands of late, it’s unveiled its first-ever collaboration with GANNI, the Danish affordable luxury brand.
Focused on the ever-popular New Balance 2002R, the joint-effort is rooted in Y2K style, as well as future-thinking sustainability ideals. Both colorways of the GANNI 2002R feature nods to the Boston-based sportswear brand’s heritage-driven grey, which is accompanied by hits of green. All-over “GANNI” text lands on the New Balance shoes’ base layers.
Enjoy campaign and product imagery of both 2002R pairs ahead, and find the collaboration arriving to both GANNI and NewBalance.com outlets on April 13th with a $150 USD price tag.
Elsewhere, the New Balance 550 is soon set to launch covered in Cordura fabric courtesy of size?.
