While these fearless and borderline excessive applications are typically executed by collaborative partners such as Comme des Garçons or sacai, this upcoming release is indeed an in-line model create by the internal design team at Nike. Additionally, the newly revealed hourglass logo, which we first showed you in the Fontanka-esque Air Force 1 High, appears at the heel; this suggests that a larger collection of altered Air Force 1 footwear for women is in the works.
First and foremost, we can’t ignore the gigantic white bow that appears looped into the lace eyelets. This bow is presumably removable as Nike official images pictures this accessory on its own. The remainder of the eyelets (four of them to be exact) see a classic shoelace bow. The upper is also features pleated white panels at the toe, midfoot, and heel, white the quarter and heel sees a surface texture comparable to paper ribbon.
Again, the hourglass logo at the heel all but confirms a full collection of Air Force 1s reimagined, so stay tuned as we’re bound to see more of these unique styles revealed.
