Nike Prepares For The 2022 World Cup With This Upcoming Air Max Plus

The 2022 World Cup is still many months away, and yet Nike’s commemorative releases are already boiling to the surface. Joining what will soon become a large collection, this Air Max Plus features a simple grey-on-blue colorway as well as football-themed iconography.

Here, gilded soccer balls are painted onto both the tongue and sockliner, joined by three figures with their hands interlocked. These logos are framed by a relatively standard make-up, whose grey base proffers a subtle pattern. Over top, there lies black leathers and TPU cages, with blue accents adding color to the eyelets, lining, and edge of the side Swoosh. Below, the sole unit mirrors many of the aforementioned colors, using the darker of the two along its gradient-clad shank.

Take a closer look at this Air Max Plus below, and sit tight as many more World Cup-themed offerings are sure to appear within the next few months.

In unrelated news, the Yeezy Foam Runner Stone Sage is returning this Friday.
