Michael Le “Sun Club” isn’t just about the playful colors and imagery. Simpler variations, too, have been revealed as of late, such as this newly-surfaced iteration of the Air Max 90.
Sustainability is what’s most on display, as both this pair and the pairs before it swap out the usual materials for part-recycled ones. This is evident across the sole as well as the textile base, which are speckled and woven in a way unique from previous Air Max 90s. And compared to the rest of the “Sun Club” collection, the colorway shines a greater spotlight on simplicity, as it forgoes the smiling sun and vibrant pastels. There are, however, callouts to the pack along the tongue and heel tab as well as a unique bamboo-shaped dubrae.
