Over the course of the past few years, adidas has supplied their audience with a number of overengineered silhouettes, many of which cast the brand’s most iconic shoes through a contemporary lens. But unlike the Ozweego and NMD S1, the newly-introduced Roverend Adventure is an entirely new proposition that likely belongs with the Adventure line-up’s series of outdoors-inspired, everyday wearables.
Made up of several accessories, tops, and bottoms, the Adventure line rarely employs a serious, enthusiast-level mindset. Rather, the windbreakers, graphic hoodies, and series of bags are meant for everyday excursions, from a journey to the local coffee shop to taking your dog out for a walk.
The Roverend Adventure, unlike the above-mentioned pieces, is far more complex, incorporating a foam sole unit that’s intricately milled and colored to resemble (ostensibly) the look of a moss-covered rockface. A lighter but similar shade of green tints the upper’s external cage, which features emboldened “ADVENTURE” branding along its backside; additionally, stripes and laces are stitched into and looped through the fixture, creating a synergy between it and the suede/mesh assembly underneath.

In other news, the Salehe Bembury Pollex Clog is releasing very, very soon. Have you decided what colorway you’ll be going for?
