Wearing “Just Do It” across its sole, this Air Force 1 features a unique, colorfully-accented colorway that’s applied atop an equally bold arrangement of materials. Snakeskin, leathers, and the like come together, effectively blending a youthful palette with more mature, luxurious fashions.
Both the paneling along the toe cap and heel feature a subtle, linen-colored set of scales, giving the reptilian texture a more lifestyle-appropriate feel. Behind, the leathers that appear along the mid-panel and forefoot are much more unassuming, relatively, as they — like the adjacent midsole and eye stays — opt for a standard, white-dressed construction. Pops of red and blue then highlight the Swoosh and heel tab/laces, respectively, while the mesh tongue features a touch of neon green in complement to the slogan underfoot.
A fitting celebration for the shoe’s 40th Anniversary, this Air Force 1 should be hitting Nike.com and select retailers soon. Until then, take a close-up look at the pair via the imagery below.
