Nike Delivers Stealthy “Safari” Patterns On This Kid’s Air Max 97

Nike Delivers Stealthy “Safari” Patterns On This Kid’s Air Max 97

The Nike Air Max 97 debuted 25 years ago. Over that time period, the silhouette has had some dry spells worldwide, with select cities across the globe advocating for it to have the popularity it currently enjoys.

As the sneaker-collecting community awaits for the Christian Tresser-designed pair to return in original colorways, the Swoosh family continues to experiment with the revolutionary Air Max model. Exclusive to kids, the latest style indulges in a predominantly “Black” makeup, with “Safari” print taking over the mudguard in a stealthy look. Eye-catching orange flair animates the vamp overlays and mid-foot logos, among other things. Underfoot, the full-length Air Max unit (the first of its kind) follows suit, while its accompanying tread prefers a pitch-dark look.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.

For more from under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, check out the Air Jordan 11 “Cherry” set to drop in December.
