The “Nike 101” Collection Delivers A Stripped-Back Look On The Air Force 1 Low

The “Nike 101” Collection Delivers A Stripped-Back Look On The Air Force 1 Low

In addition to high-profile collaborations, the Nike Air Force 1‘s 40th anniversary celebration has also delivered looks at handfuls of compelling general releases.

Recently, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design from 1982 emerged in a rather-understated ensemble complete with non-standard “NIKE 101” branding on the sock-liners. Suede covers the majority of the pair’s top-half, with stitching at the lateral forefoot and profile swooshes offering purple and blue contrast, respectively. Vibrant orange flair also enters the mix via logos on the top of the tongue, as well as the Air Force 1 Low‘s upper heel panel. The “barebones” aesthetic sits atop a heavily-yellowed, semi-translucent sole unit, which rounds out the “back-to-basics” theme perceived on the latest take on Kilgore’s creation.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, as you wait for official Nike.com launch details.
