The New Balance 550 Set To Release In Mint Green

The New Balance 550 Set To Release In Mint Green

The New Balance 550 has become one of the most-coveted silhouettes of the last two years, with fans craving both general and special releases of the 33-year-old design.

Recently, the model (created by Steven Smith) emerged in a straightforward, but compelling white and mint green-colored ensemble. Akin to basketball team-friendly styles from 1989, the upcoming New Balance drop indulges in a predominantly “colorless” outfit across its upper and sole unit. The titular mint green flair, then, animates everything from profile “N” logos to the made-for-basketball traction underfoot. It’s yet to be seen whether or not the sneakers will be exclusive to women, but what’s certain is that all kinds of footwear enthusiasts will divert their attention to the next 550 given its simple, but fresh look.

No firm NewBalance.com release details have yet been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy product imagery of the pair ahead.

For more from the Boston-based company, check out the New Balance 990v6, which is expected to debut before 2022 ends.
