The Nike Air Max 97 turns 25 this year. To celebrate the occasion, the Swoosh has outfitted the silhouette in varying styles, both old and new.
Recently, the latter category expanded by yet another option, which seemingly taps into a “wild” aesthetic that’s appeared on several recent Nike Sportswear offerings. Shades of off-white and extremely faint neon green take over the base layer and vamp overlays, with mudguards interrupting the muted aesthetic with their blotch-covered finish. Vibrant green animates branding on the top of the tongue and spine, while full-length Air Max bags opt for a differing shade of the aforementioned neon green hue.
