With Virgil Abloh’s “Figures Of Speech” exhibit now showing at the Brooklyn Museum, many presumed the Off-White Air Force 1 in green would release during its scheduled showing. Whether it be through an online raffle or an in-person procedure, the latest colorway of the storied Off-White Air Force 1 series has been keeping shoe fanatics on the edges of their seats. Employees of the museum have been spotted wearing the shoes, although they have no information regarding an actual drop at the art institution.
Now, with official images of the shoes surfacing, it appears that a release could be coming soon. Cue Brian Windhorst’s fingers pointing in the air: could Nike be preparing a release soon?
While no such drop has been revealed, we can now take a look at official brand images of the vibrant sneaker. Featuring the classic leather construction, exposed sponge innards, and crinkled silver Swoosh logo with black stitching, this Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh’s Off-White brings a breath of familiarity given the over-the-top styles that have recently released under the Off-White x Nike umbrella.
Stay tuned for release details as they develop.
