Breathability Is The Focus Of ASICS Upcoming ACTIBREEZE 3D Slides

Slides, much like clogs, are rapidly reaching peak popularity, as every name in the sneaker industry is rushing to throw their own hat into the ring. And following the efforts of New Balance, Jordan Brand, and adidas, ASICS is offering up their very own Summer-ready shoe: the ACTIBREEZE 3D Sandal.

Compared to popular offerings like the Yeezy Slide and even Gucci’s Adilette knockoff, the ACTIBREEZE 3D is far more experimental, forgoing the smooth, basic look typical of the entire category. Here, the Japanese footwear brand has opted for a 3D printed, “parametrically designed” construction, which enhances breathability by way of a comprehensive lattice structure.

Unveiled first in a “Triple Black” colorway, the ACTIBREEZE 3D retails for $80 USD. A release is coming very soon, hitting ASICS.com and likely select retailers.

In other news, the JJJJound Reebok NPC II is releasing later this week.
