Luka Dončić has yet to make it to an NBA Finals, but the 23-year-old basketball player’s star power can’t be denied. As Team Jumpman begins to prep a stateside debut of the Jordan Luka 1, the Slovenia-native’s first signature sneaker, it continues teasing colorway after colorway of the shoe.
In addition to understated, predominantly “Black”-colored styles, Doncic’s inaugural silhouette is set to release in a handsome “White,” “Metallic Silver” and “Neo Turquoise” combination, with the most latter hue delivering summer-friendly flair. The ultra-breathable, but durable and lockdown-oriented mesh, fuse and Flightwire combination across the upper dons the simplest of the aforementioned colors, with titular blue hues animating branding at the vamp, pull tabs at the heel and the IsoPlate solution partly protruding on the lateral side. Multi-directional traction underfoot deviate from the herringbone patterns found on the Luka-endorsed Air Jordan 36, but indulge in a semi-translucent look that allows for the innovative cushioning and stability combination that makes up the Luka 1.
No firm Nike.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as autumn approaches. While you wait, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
