From luxe “Anniversary Edition” colorways to an expansive collaboration with Louis Vuitton, the Nike Air Force 1‘s 40th Anniversary is already well replete with big, eventful releases. But there’s still half of the year left to go, and the brand is evidently not quite through celebrating Bruce Kilgore’s beloved creation, as they’ve recently added yet another, fur-accented pair to the calendar.
Presented with Nike’s more modern branding — which dresses the tongue, heel, and insole — this Air Force 1 features shorthair suede throughout much of its construction. Dyed a vibrant “Desert Berry,” said material tonally complements the adjacent Swoosh and heel tab, whose faux fur exterior is brushed with the much darker “Burgundy Crush.” Black piping, then, finishes the edge of the check as well as the aforementioned logos, while white and gum build out the sole unit below.
