Far from being a popular silhouette, the Nike Air Max Plus 3 continues to boast a cult-like following across select parts of the globe. Recently, the Tuned Air-cushioned silhouette emerged in a gradient of blue tones.
Akin to Sean McDowell’s original proposition from 1998, the third installment of the “Tn” series feature TPU strips across the profiles. A mesh base joins the mix and indulges in the titular gradient finish. Surrounding components mostly take on a pitch-dark arrangement that allows for the navy and “University Blue”-reminiscent flair that divvies up real estate across the upper to revel that much more in the spotlight. Accents around the heel, the Air Max units underfoot and branding underfoot also opt for varying shades of blue, rounding out the shoes.
