“University Blue” Helps Celebrate The Nike Air Force 1’s 40th Anniversary

The Nike Air Force 1 still has several months left in its 40th anniversary celebration. Recently, the “presidential” offering emerged in a “University Blue”-heavy look prepped for the occasion.

Akin to some of the most iconic makeovers of Bruce Kilgore’s creation from 1982, the newly-surfaced low-top indulges in a solid color across its upper and outsole. Stark “White” contrast enters the mix via any available space, covering the midsole well; laces and profile swooshes also follow suit. What’s arguably most interesting about the low-top Air Force 1, however, are the “40th Anniversary” branding on the tongue labels and included toothbrush given that they captuee the spirit of the shoe and the celebratory occasion.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
