Michael Le Newfound fans of New Balance are constantly gravitating towards the same silhouettes, such as the 550, 2002R, and much of the 990 series. The 1600, however, rarely receives much attention, though that may begin to change if the brand continues releasing colorways as clean as this beige pair.
An appropriate addition to New Balance’s Fall 2022 catalog, this 1600 features neutrals throughout its entire construction. The suede, leather, and mesh fixtures incorporate various shades of beige and brown, many of which also appear across the shoe’s outsole. Embroidered branding, such as the “N” logo along the side as well as the text across the tongue, opt for a white coloring, which matches the finish of the collar, lining, laces, and midsole.
