Jared Ebanks The Swooshes reconstruction of their most heralded silhouettes with GORE-TEX materials has profered the ideal amalgamation of weather-ready styles set to traverse concrete jungles amidst unpredictable climates. For the brands latest reimagining, they’ll be tapping their flagship cushioning silhouette in the Nike Air Max 90.
A dark aesthetic is applied to the mixed leather and reinforced textile base as black and “Iron Grey” mix and match across the uppers quarter overlays and vamp. Bold shading is introduced along the forefoot panel dressed in “Cargo Khaki” while a “Tour Yellow” brightly accents both the mid-foot and heel’s Swoosh alongside the Gore-Tex branding presiding above a vibrant magenta background. The latter hue returns for the rear “AIR” text and translucent Air Bag construction. Rounding out the design, the selectively colored upper sits atop a black rubber midsole and matching tread that additionally features the titular light violet scheme.
