Jared Ebanks While the Nike Dunk model has quickly been heralded as the brand’s premier streetwear silhouette, the NSW section of The Swoosh sits with a catalog filled with over two decades of heritage and history to pull from for future offerings. Harkening back to the 2006 “Three Bears” pack that played on the timeless fairy tale, the latest Nike Dunk Low continues to delve out its own collection in 2022 by way of the rose pink variety.
After a medley of tans and browns graced the “Rogue Rabbit” colorway of the Dunk Low back in July, the second rendition dresses the smooth suede panels of the quarter and mudguard in a faded rosewood shade while the underlying nylon construction dawns a mix of white and pink stitching. The laces, inner lining and rear “NIKE” branding follow suit in the bright salmon hue as the backtab and Swoosh present “Sail” accents with a hanging tag including teal Nike script and an orange mini swoosh. Underfoot things are finished off with the classic white midsole and gum tread combination as the models namesake features Teddy Bear motifs along the insoles and medial heels suede panel.
