Amidst numerous anniversaries, the Air Jordan 6 was only afforded a few releases throughout this past year. But what it lacked in quantity, the silhouette made up for in quality, as it’s brought back the much-beloved “Midnight Navy” alongside debuting a well-received nod to Georgetown University. And in the latter months of 2022, the silhouette is set to deliver another exciting offering: the “Black Chrome,” which was first teased this past March.
Likened to the iconic “DMP” colorway for obvious reasons, this upcoming pair dresses most of its upper in a black nubuck. The laces, pull-tabs, and lining are dyed to match, while the Jumpman threaded onto the lace shield and printed atop the lace toggle opt for a silver metallic sheen. Below, the midsole and outsole feature identical accents between a blacked out and icy blue finish. What’s more, the box itself is done up to match the core “Black Chrome” palette.
For a closer, more detailed look at the Air Jordan 6 “Black Chrome,” check out the imagery added below. These are reportedly set to release in October, though it’s possible we’ll be seeing delays.
In other news, the Air Jordan 3 Fire Red is returning this weekend.
